Apple Concert (2018)

This is a documentation video of our Apple Concert performance presented at the 100 year anniverssary symposium of the Abö Akadamie in Abö Finland. The Apple concert - presented in a large number of iterations - goes all the way back to when Jan-Erik and I were first paired as collaborators by the Chicago Artist Abroad program. At the time, Jan-Erik was doing eating performances, and I was doing electronic music installations, and the sounds of the Apple being eaten - and social eating in general - was an early focus of ours in merging our interests. This work features recorded an processed live sounds that I present, and Jan-Erik is joined by 4 of the heads of the Abö Akadamie in eating apples.
