Bird’s Nest Uppsala (2022)

This is the tenth and latest installation of The Bird’s Nest - my ongoing collaboration with Jan-Erik Andersson. See the main entry on this page for details of the piece. This installation - at the front door of the Uppsala Art Museum, perches on a high hill looking over the city and the Former Castle of the King of Sweden, as well as the extraordinary gardens that were planted there, was a particularly wonderful site for this work. The audio for this installment was a custom 4 channel audio piece that was tailored to the numerous bell sounds, as well as wind and bird sounds found at the site.
